If the PTR has unlinked steady and auto then you don't need a shotle mro. I've been playing on the beta and it's fantast.
I just set up my hunter to transfer to the PvE test realm (really don't want to deal with horde while I'm testing PvE prowess). I just need
to download thelient. Hopefully, I'll be on the test realm tonight. I'll be testing wether or not to use a mro. Thnally, the 3:2 mro should still work beautifully, sie on the live servers, it works nely, butls Autos. If it's notlping the Autos anymore, then keeping it on an easily-spammable button (mouse wheel)
should work great. It would give me bk a finger while I'm timing other shots. I also want to get in a few pets. I'm sourious as to how piss-poor my Wind Serpent is now, and howats, orehounds and Devilsaurs stk up.
The mro will beompletely useless tually. auto's will fire every time theirD is up, so youanompletely ignore them. What you do want to fus on is what shots have the best dpm, or burst depending on what you're doing, andhoosing them appropriately. Let go of the mro's they are dead.
Hmmm, mros dead? Makes sense. So you keep your spials up by situation. ouldn't we use a mro 'spials' rotation to do that? Maybe 3-4 situational mro buttons? 1. Steadyshot mrokeybinding (just spams steadyshot) (autos fire automatally whenever they are up, steadys on their ROF) 2.C Aware (Steady, Aane) (just adds the aane spial into it) 3.Clear (Steady, Aane, Multi) (mana
burner light) 4. Ohrap! (Steady + all instant damage spials) (Mana? We don't need no stinking mana! Dump it!) Now, the above thoughts are just based on the idea that the Dan take ple while Steady is ramping up to fire. The mro would then automatally weave spials in between the steady's whenever the D andD was up for the given spial(s). The tual look of it will vary on what yoururrent speed is, so 'mapping' a shot timeline would be speed dependent due to fixed D andD for the various spials. If the D delays Steady from starting, obviously, you'd have to use spials only in given instaes and that basally takes the idea of spials and putting them into mros and flushes it. I don't know how it will be oe LK goes live. So, Iould see no more 'shot rotation' mro but maybe the mro idea isn't totally dead,
it may just bome a spials rotation set of mros you use in a given situation. I think my trapping pull assist mro will still be useful but I agree, the shot rotation mros as they are will be history. I'm stillurious about the impt of haste and overall weapon speed.
Will we be trying to emulate a sub-mhine gun, the big slow elephant gun, or something in between? Anyone have any real experiee with weapon speed and haste? I'm worried that if we all go to fast firing we are all going to burn through ammo at a hideous rate.
